Hester-Stylist After two decades experience in the industry; Hester, Director of Ministry of Hair, understands hair and she understands fashion, but most of all she loves people. Combine these elements and you have something that you have probably been looking for. All hair stylists employed by Ministry of Hair are exceptionally talented and highly trained they will leave you feeling relaxed and confident with undivided attention just for you

Rachel

Rachel has been with Ministry of Hair’s team from 2010. Rachel is certainly not new to this industry hairdressing now two decades. Rachel has been a salon owner for many years and is highly diversified in all areas of hairdressing. She spent several years as a tutor NZQA qualifier, a great experience to have had. Her passion is cutting and restyling, exhibiting the skill to work with all hair types, she is highly trained and skilled at managing anything from curls to fine hair, and for you gents out there, she is simply top of the game with Men’s styling

Shelly

Shelly has been part of Ministry of Hair’s team from day one helping us create the salon that it is today, exciting days back in 2007. I now am thrilled to be working alongside her and the rest of this amazing team. Shelly like me has been in our industry for many years. An expert at her game. Shelly like me has owned her own boutique Hair studio; she has also been a technical educator for our industry. During this time she has trained many top hairdressers around NZ. Hence why she loves training and developing within Ministry of Hair. Shelly specialises in diverse customised colour and styling, enjoying all areas of image design with both men and women. Working with some of the most challenging hair types is a forte that she manages with ease, so if you have curly, fine, thick or even unruly hair then Shelly is your stylist.

Brogain

Brogain, may be the youngest of our team here at Ministry of Hair, but she is an incredible stylist, weaving her magic and talent with our customers and delighting them with her gracious humour and extraordinary talent, we just love having her in our team. Brogain is extremely talented at creating the perfect up-do for a special occasion creating volume and curls for a night on the town is done with ease. Brogain is also the stylist for generating leading edge creative colour and styles that simply turn heads

Abby

Abby is the person who you will see at the front desk, or the person who will answer your call or email, she is a delightful and intricate part of our team. Abby says ‘that every day when she comes to work she feels like she is hanging out with friends ,as she comments that ‘all our clients become part of our family ‘She started her career achieving a Diploma in the Fashion Industry but realised shortly after this, she was passionate in customer service so here she is doing exactly that. She is here to ensure that you are listened too and placed with the best stylist that suits your needs and fashion requirements, with her commitment to satisfy your enquiries whether it is over the phone or here within the tranquillity of the salon. She will ensure that every need is met by providing the all-essential support to the salon stylists, so they in turn can provide you with the professional care and attention throughout your service that you deserve.

Mario

Mario, will be joining our team later this year, we are extremely excited and all looking forward to him joining the team in the near future. Mario comes from a Hairdressing background; it is kind of in his blood you could say. He has spent several years working in a top end Melbourne salon. His passion is diversified as he loves customer service and the business side of hairdressing. So you may find him being the wind behind the stylists supporting them in whichever way he can. He may be applying your colour, Blow waving, or assisting in the management or operational aspects of the salon.
