Sean, our resident event hair stylist, has innate skills in hair-ups, long hair styling, blow-waves, Keratin services, and restorative conditioning treatments for both men and women to promote hair growth giving your hair hydration and softness.

He transitioned from Darlinghurst Sydney and made his way here to the bustling Auckland CBD to provide lucky Ministry of Hair customers with full Special-Occasion Hair and Makeup services.

Sean’s specialised skills in evening hair and long hair artistry means he can create stunning special-occasion hairstyles for all hair types. He is also a Sydney trained Make Up Artist. Utilise his talents for a number of events including:

He can ready you for these occasions with tailored hair setting, up-styles, and blow waves, accompanied by a beautiful makeup look. Get the full look in one place to guarantee the makeup and hair complement each other seamlessly.

Trial-run consultations for Special-Occasion looks are encouraged to ensure you nail the perfect style for you. Sean will use this session to draw-up looks, letting you see the full hair and makeup effect, and helping you find the style that will best highlight your beauty. He will discuss all factors, including dress, theme, venue, indoor versus outdoor – anything that you think may contribute to style or appearance.

Event Hair: $200

Make Up (includes false lashes): $75

*Note: If getting Makeup done, please supply your own foundation for the perfect colour match. For hairstyling, allow at least an hour per person.
